Love it though a novice and still learning. I have twice managed to put the filter in upside down resulting in coffee boiling out between the top and bottom parts and having to start again (such a waste). Now I check the ‘Made in Italy’ stamped on the filter is facing me, so I know it’s in the correct way.

As a guide, the seal sits in the groove around the filter plate and holds it in place at the bottom of the top chamber. If the ring and filter are upside down, they won't sit correctly. It looks like you have this sorted now, but if you're not sure please get in touch.
This seemed like a good idea. But … I found it undrinkable. It would probably be better with sugar and milk. In future I’ll stick to the traditional coffees.
Was so pleased to find I could buy Bialetti beans now. Loving the smell of freshly ground beans and then as it brews on the stove. It really adds to the ambience of this morning ritual.

Very nice, a light but definite cocoa essence flavor in the back ground. Have found that adding 2 teaspoons of fair-trade hot chocolate to make a mocha seems to bring its cocoa flavor out more??
